- 01As a rule of thumb, it's best to book your porta potty rental at least one week in advance. However, we understand that you may not always be able to do so and are still happy to help accommodate last-minute reservations. Just bear in mind that during our busiest times of the year, usually warmer months, inventory for portable restrooms, restroom trailers or temporary fencing may be limited. If your project or event is on a large scale, even more lead time is advised so that we can evaluate your needs properly, assign rental assets and deploy resources to your site promptly. To get started today, please call us at (985) 632-5592 or fill out our online form.
- 02To calculate the total rental price for porta potties, consider how long your event will be. Will it span hours, days, weeks, or months? The amount of time attendees will use the unit(s) directly impacts how many you should order. Generally speaking, units for weekend events are delivered on a weekday leading up to the date and picked back up on a weekday after the event has concluded. At an additional cost, we offer weekend delivery, service or pickup. Upgrades, such as flushing restrooms or restrooms with sinks, have a higher rental rate than basic porta potty rentals. Depending on the size of your public event, ADA accessible restrooms might also be required . On construction job sites, the number of portable toilets required is determined by ANSI standards. Where multiple portable toilet units are clustered at a single location, at least 5% of those units must be ADA-accessible. Where only one portable toilet is provided, that unit must be accessible.
- 03Our portable toilets are the most popular choice for weekend or one-day parties. However, We also offer many other options that can be rented for a single day. To ensure that you secure your desired portable restroom and allow for an ample delivery time, it is always best to call at least one week prior to your event.
- 04Joe's Septic portable restrooms are wheelchair accessible and compliant with the Americans with Disabilities Act. They have been created to fit the standards outlined by the ADA in order to be used on construction sites, commercial areas, or for special events. According to the statute, when multiple portable toilet units are clustered at a single location, at least 5% of the units must be accessible and identified with the International Symbol of Accessibility. Here is an excerpt from the Federal Register relating to 4.1.2 Accessible Site and Exterior Facilities: New Construction relevant to portable restrooms: "The exception is that if portable toilet units are used exclusively by construction personnel who do not require the use of an ADA unit, you are not required to comply with this statute." (Federal Register/Vol. 56, No 144/July 26, 1991/Rules and Regulations) For more information about ADA guidelines as they relate specifically to portable restrooms, please contact our office or view our Regulations page on our website.
